Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
